I was so stoked. Finally. After waiting for what seemed like months, Warren and the guys at Musicol Records in Columbus, Ohio finished pressing my album into vinyl records.
It's not cheap either.
But I started a Kickstarter campaign several months prior and was able to successfully raise $1500 to press vinyl, print record jackets and burn screen-printed CDs.
It came down to the wire too. There was only a few weeks to go and my project still wasn't fully funded which would have meant that nothing would happen and there would be no record. I still had the digital album available, but there's just something cool about a record that you can't get from you iPod.
Kickstarter is awesome and without it there'd be no way I could have ever made a record. I hope you guys get a chance to buy a copy someday.
